We are Augustines return to our shores with their latest single Chapel Song, having received critical acclaim from the likes of Zane Lowe and NME with their previous outing Book of James.

A song about 'witnessing an old flame and bride-to-be walk down the isle to be married' Chapel Song wades in and out of a rythmic guitar track with lead singer Billy Mcarthy's bittersweet vocals chanting a melody fuelled with emotion. The band have struggled with personal tragedy in the past and you can hear that they've use their music as an outlet.

Mcarthy could said to be Americas answer to Tom Smith of The Editors, with his deep, leading melodies. We Are Augustines' music mixes instruments in a way that throws them far off the beaten track the Editors walk down, and takes us to a newer rock sound.

We Are Augustines' debut album is set for release in the UK on March 5th.
